Reno Battle Born VFW Post 9211

Veterans serving veterans — building camaraderie, service, and advocacy in Reno.

About VFW Post 9211

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is a nonprofit veterans service organization made up of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces. Since 1899, the VFW has worked to foster camaraderie among veterans, advocate for those who served, and strengthen communities across the United States.

A local VFW Post is where that mission becomes personal and local. Reno Battle Born VFW Post 9211 provides a place for eligible veterans to connect with one another, participate in community service, and take part in events that honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans and their families.

Post 9211 serves the Reno area by upholding the VFW mission, offering camaraderie and a welcoming environment for eligible veterans, and helping connect veterans and families with official resources when needed.

Our Mission: To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans.

Our Vision: Ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.
